In 1978 the Hershey Foods Corporation introduced the Whatchamacalit bar, which was peanut-flavored crisps, dipped in chocolate, that's the one I originally fell in love with. In 1987 they changed the bar by adding caramel to it, which was a real improvement.
Overall, I find this to be a great tasting candy bar, with the crunchiness of the crisps combining beautifully with the smoothness of the chocolate and caramel. The bar has 230 calories (110 from fat), and 28 grams of carbs, so let the buyer beware. But, this is nonetheless, a great candy bar that I love and highly recommend.
