(More customer reviews)I'm not sure what the previous reviewer didn't follow the directions appropriately, but we had a great experience with this kit. It was everything we were looking for to make some at home and for some occasional guests. The milk tea powder can be easily adjusted to taste. If you want it to be more creamy, you can add some milk or non-dairy creamer to it. The same thing goes for the sweetness - easily controlled based on how much sugar you add. The tapioca pearls, if you want them to be chewy, cook it for less time. If you want them to be softer, cook them longer. The only suggestion we have is that we wish that the kit had more flavors to try out. However, we did purchase other powders and syrups from Boba Tea Direct (apart from this kit) so that really wasn't an issue. Overall, we recommend this kit.
