(More customer reviews)We were very loyal Canus Goat's Milk BODY BUTTER users for years. Canus has changed the ingredients of the Body Butter, and it now has a rather pungent scent VERY much different from the original Body Butter sold in the 8 oz. plastic jar. The older version of the BODY BUTTER came in a jar with a red screw top; the red color matched the horizontal red band at the bottom of the jar's label. The newer version has a tan screw top. Sadly, we find the scent of the newer BODY BUTTER very unpleasant. Even worse, Amazon was out of the original BODY BUTTER, so we ordered it from another online vendor, only to be told they wouldn't take it back. We have contacted CANUS in Vermont hoping that they will take it back although we're not sure what we'd ask for in return. We have tried the LI'L GOAT's MILK Baby Butter in the past (a little greasy because it has ingredients for preventing diaper rash) and found that scent to be similar to the Original Body Butter. Hopefully they haven't messed with that product, too. I am waiting to hear from Canus, and if I find that, for some reason, the six new jars were recently purchased were a bad batch, and that this review is an unfair assessment of the situation, I will return to edit this review.
