(More customer reviews)Ok, let's get real ... rice proteins don't taste great ... BUT ... there are compromises if you need to avoid Whey. With that said, I have tried A LOT of products out there and wasted A LOT of money - and I am glad I stumbled across this one. I tried SunWarrior Rice Protein and thought it was really gross in comparison to this ... this is the best rice protein so far in my experience and the price point is MUCH better. The taste is typical "of rice protein" - and I gave up on all the fancy flavors (i.e., fake, nasty vanilla) and decided to go the DIY method. I use all plain protein powders (i.e., rice, hemp, pea) and then add fresh/frozen fruits - raw cacao powder and some natural sweeteners to taste - and the result is pretty good. Most importantly, I know exactly what the hell is in it ... and don't have to research weird ingredient lists ... a little extra work - but you get out - what you put in ... and it only takes 1-2 minutes really ... but after losing 130+ lbs ... I have realized that convenience is our greatest enemy.
