It is the best alternative "milk" in my opinion. I grew up drinking cow's milk so it was hard to imagine living without it. If you are lactose intolerant or notice a build up of mucus such as needing to clear your throat after drinking cow's milk, this might be the perfect substitute for you. It beats controversial soy milk (endocrine concerns) and is better in texture than nut-milks. I still enjoy nut-milks but I simply prefer this oat milk. I especially enjoy having organic peppermint tea with YS raw honey with a splash of this oat milk to make it a bit creamier and smooth. Such a treat.
If you only drink whole cow's milk, drinking this will be a bad shock to you. If you only drink 1 percent fat cow's milk, you might find the transition easier.
