(More customer reviews)I ordered this Gianduiotti because we had tried it in Italy and loved it. This chocolate arrived stale - discolored with whitish coating which immediately tells you it's been sitting on the shelf for a long time. This is the risk with ordering imported edibles - the seller may store them for long lengths of time without re-stocking with fresh product. Very disappointing, as these items are not cheap. I will not order from this seller again. I would recommend anyone who wants imported fresh chocolate to order from Southern Season in Chapel Hill, NC as they are a gourmet grocery that does huge amounts of business and offer very fine quality chocolates, and they stand behind their products.
